Scarlet Moon

Kurapika Kurta from Hunter x Hunter (2011). I recently started watching Hunter x Hunter, and oddly enough, my friend I introduced to the series while I was on the third arc beat me to finishing it (thanks a lot Artgnat XD). I still need to finish it. The last episode I saw was the last episode of the Chimera Ant arc, which actually became awesome at the end despite the horrifying beginning. Best arc = Yorknew City, though. And this picture is based on the fight between Kurapika and Uvogin, which is the best anime fight I've ever seen ever... seriously, I loved watching it. Kurapika is my favorite character, by far. He's intelligent, bada$$, has an interesting backstory, and has a cool design too. I like how his eyes turn red, it's so awesome. I also like Killua, Machi, and Bisky.
Well, this took me all day, but I'm happy with the result. But his chains were a pain... -_- so was the friggin' moon! I restarted the moon's shading 3 times and the light 5 times. But it's finally acceptable to me. This picture was just me testing out action poses. Yesterday I was drawing a bunch of action poses of Kurapika and III from Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. Too much fun.
